    Daniela Pardo, viola

Ms. Pardo’s musical experience includes fifteen years with the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra in Venezuela where she also was an active teacher and chamber musician. For 15 years she taught viola at the Simon Bolivar Conservatory in Caracas, and coached young musicians within “El Sistema”. In the year 2000, she moved to Milwaukee to pursue a master in music. After holding the string department chair position at the Wisconsin Conservatory for ten years and founding the Suzuki program there, Daniela taught orchestra at the Hattiesburg High School from 2010 to 2018. Her position as an adjunct music professor at William Carey University inspired her to create and direct the “William Carey Suzuki Institute” and “My First String Camp at Carey” from 2012 to 2018.

In January 2019, Daniela relocated to Daphne, AL to become the Education Director with the Mobile Symphony Orchestra.

Now days, she maintains a private violin and viola studio in Mobile/Daphne and regularly performs with the Mobile, Pensacola, Meridian and Gulf Coast Orchestras.

    William Carey Suzuki Institute, Hattiesburg

Violin and Viola teacher, Founder and Director

    Aug 2012– June 2018

The William Carey Suzuki Institute is based on the teaching philosophy of Japanese violinist Shinichi Suzuki. Dr. Suzuki based his approach on the belief that “Musical ability is not an inborn talent but an ability which can be developed.” He began to apply the basic principles of language acquisition to the learning of music, and called his method the mother-tongue approach. As when a child learns to talk, parents are involved in the musical learning of their child. Listening to music every day is important, and constant repetition is essential in learning to play an instrument. Children age 4 and up are accepted.

Our program offers weekly individual instruction, group classes, recitals and parent-teacher conferences.

  • MY MOTTO

It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.

  • Love to play my viola!

    Love to teach!

Let's talk about music. Every form of music is important and enjoyable. Any space is a good venue to make good music.

Love the little ones. Nothing is more important than the first impression made on that first lesson ever.

Nothing better than coaching a chamber group of young musicians.

The most beautiful instrument, oh well, I am a violist.

Being surrounded by beautiful and different sounds, music all around.

Making music with friends, what can be more fun?

There is a classical piece for every one in the world.
